http://www.agecon.purdue.edu/crd/Localgov/images/indiana_statehouse.jpgIn the beginning of the story mantharaka told the spirit not cut down the tree because he need it so his family could live a good life so the spirit gave him a wish. For example when the spirit gave a wish to mantharak he went to the barber for advice. Another example he ask his wife for advice. My third example is that his wife told him to get a second head and two pairs of arms for his wish. Clearly in the beginning of the story mantharaka told the spirit not cut down the tree because he need it so his family could live a good life so spirit the gave him a wish.

Toward the end of the story manthrarka went to the spirit for a wish for the extra head and two arms. For example, the people thought he was a demon and they killed Mantharaka . Another example, is that he followed his wife's wish. A third example is he didn't listen to the barber. clearly ,toward the end of the story he went to the spirit for the wish for the extra head and two arms.

Mantharaka's actions changed because he listen to other people's advice and not his own. For example he went to barber to ask what he was going to wish for. Another is he ask his wife for advice. A third example is that everyone beat him up because he took his wife's advice. Evidently
Mantharacka's actions changed because he listen to other people's advice and not his own.
